In between the dreams I dream

And the hopes that lead me so

Is a place where I have to be

But is a place I rather not go

It's where the blaze of guns

And the smell of death

Are constant in the mind

Where the grumbling of hunger

And the dryness of tongue

Plague the human kind

In between the hopes I hope

And the dreams that lead me on

Is a place I have to see

But a place I wish it was not

It's where the silky words

And the flash of a blade

Creep in the high shadows

Where damnation of many

And the loss of souls

Are many that blindly follow

So as You give me a dream

That will help me hold onto Your hope

I walk brazenly in Your strength

To face the place where reality roams

I have FINALLY posted something!!! Yay!! I'm so happy!

Anyway... this poem is very, very,very good but my favorite is "Goodbye for now".
